The developer of a game has sent me two files. One is an Adhoc file, and one is an app.ipa.rar file. He then asked me to reference this page.

His English is better than my Chinese, but he's far more technically adept than I. I'm trying to transfer to file to my iPad. I've managed to install the mobileprovision file to my iPad, which shows up in the "profile" section in the settings menu, but the app itself is now stuck in my iTunes library, and will not allow me to transfer it to my iPad. The developer originally sent me the ipa.rar file and told me to remove the .rar, but then iTunes did not recognize it as a valid file. I did a search and found that it's a compressed file, so I uncompressed it with unRarX, which turned it into an .ipa file that iTunes recognized. But it won't transfer!
Can you help? You sound like you really know what you're doing, and I am now committed to this project!!
Thanks,
Berni Koch
